Crazy week

This week has been crazy busy! Monday started off working 9-6. I work with mentally handicap kids and they are the cutest things ever! I love my job! The two girls I work with are both four years old.

Meet Ainsley:

I also work with Abby:

Then Tuesday I taught my water aerobics class. Only four people showed up. If you live in Boise, come to the YMCA on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6-7 for water aerobics!

Anyways, Wednesday was insane! I went to work in the morning till 1:15. It was my brother-in-laws birthday so I was going to make him a t-shirt! Well I ran all over the world getting the shirt and markers I thought I was going to use. When I finally got home my Dad said I could use an iron-on and design it on the computer. Sounds easy right? NO! Maybe it was my Dad breathing down my neck as my hand quivered on the mouse. Well needless to say it only took me 2 hours! Dang technology! So when I was completing that (or I should say my Dad completed it. I gave up torturing myself) my sister called and asked if I could make Mike a cake and come pick up the truck from her house and set up decorations at the restaurant. So I put the cake in the oven, wrapped the new printed t-shirt, made delicious chocolate butter-cream frosting, took the cake out of the oven and into freezer, drove over to Danielle's, found out the truck wouldn't start, sped home, grabbed cake icing and present, ran to restaurant, and put up the decorations after I begged Mike's mom to frost the cake. Whew!

Meanwhile, I had also received a letter from the best man ever! So I even found time to read that!

Meet Jordan, He is serving in the California, Ventura Spanish-speaking mission!

So after the party Kristina and I decided to go to Harry Potter and asked Skylar, Amy, and my Dad to tag along. The movie was pretty good, but the seats at the Downtown Edwards... SUCK! My neck was killing me!

Thursday came with more work, writing back my man, and more water aerobics, finishing off with free snow cones from my grandpas shack! Go to the snow shack by the Meridian Pool! The man's name inside is Al, he will hook you up. (I don't mean free or anything, just really yummy!)

Friday I sweated my little heart out at the park with Abby in the 102* heat. It was worth it because I knew I would get to go boating when she finally fell asleep for nap. Let me just say, the lake was awesome! I took some old friends and my siblings with their friends, and there is nothing like the lake on a summer night. Oh and grapes and carrots to snack on. (Essentials, right?)

Meet Tina (aka Kristina)

King of the Tube CHAMPIONS! That's right!

Well on Saturday it was also blazing hot out so we decided to go raft the payette river. We borrowed my uncle's raft and kayak, and headed up to the river.

Me and Skylar's inflatable kayak
Mom and Amy... We learned that the "experienced paddlers sit up front"
Dad, the raft guide!

It was a pretty crazy and busy week, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
